Affiliate Marketing Strategies: Why You Need Three Key Ingredients to Make the Sale Plus True Story

I will briefly share with you some key Ingredients for marketing any product online. This is very important because now a days the attention span of people are very short, we use to have a minute to catch someone's attention now it's down to seconds.

I am going to describe a few things to implement in your marketing to help make that sale a bit smoother.

By the way have you noticed the ads on TV lately or is it just me? They are more and more blatant and in your face!

Seriously everywhere I look I see naked women and oversized fast food meals all saying come get me!

What can we take from this to implement in our day to day marketing and business, whether online or offline...

1. Let's start with the word FREE: In 2011 I saw an online ad giving away a report I had great interest in because at the time I was looking for this information.

When I landed on the page the first thing I saw was this big "FREE" word sticking out amongst everything else, when I read on I realized this is exactly what I'm looking for right now and I snatched it quickly...

... The report was great and I gained a lot from it, but I may have gained more from noticing how they marketed it...

... While reading the report random links were placed in strategic areas that lead me to actually buy something, I was getting so much value from this information.

I bought it a day or two after for around 20 bucks, I ended up going on a spending spree that almost cost me my shirt. And it all this started with the word FREE!

2. Become someone who shares information: People always say I have nothing to share, what should I say? There is always something you know that will be of value to someone else. Once you make the transition from the one who is always seeking out information to the one who has the information and shares, people will start viewing you as the expert.

3. Don't use negative words: what do you think of when I say, don't think about pink elephants or don't think about sinking your toes in the hot sand on a beach or don't think about a stack of crisp hundred dollar bills?

You can't help but think about what I'm saying not to think about.

So when you speak with certain words to a prospect in writing or vocally it may be creating the opposite reaction. Example, "this program is nothing like working a 9to5 job" or "Don't worry about having to do all the technical work"... the prospect subconsciously connects all the negatives with your opportunity.
