Affiliate marketing can be challenging especially when you're just starting out. Affiliate marketing is actually the simplest way in my opinion to make money online.
It's too challenging for a beginner to create a product, market the product, create the follow up with customers, drive traffic to the offer, and test the offer to see what brings higher conversions.
These are just a few of what goes into creating a product online. Affiliate marketing is much simpler and this is why it's so attractive across the board. In order to become an affiliate there are a few things to get in place.
Choose the right product
There are so many products out there and choosing the right one can be like sowing in the dark. When I'm looking for a product to promote I look for the one that has a quality looking page. This is a big deal; there are tons of sales pages that are actually junk and terrible to look at. Your leads won't want to look at them either so chose one that looks professional.
Sales letter
Having a persuasive sales letter may actually be the most important part of this puzzle. When you're looking at a sales letter, make sure to check the actual writing and what's being said. Take note if they are using a story, or if they are using real life examples and metaphors to bring a point together.
Also take note and check if they have the "scarcity tactic in place" and the "money back guarantee" this makes the prospect lean more towards the purchase because they feel like there is no risk on their part.
Set up Google Webmaster Tools
This is the fastest way to get your page indexed if you're doing SEO. Google's webmaster section has data and information that will benefit your businesses marketing campaigns.
In the back office it shows the amount of pages you have indexed and it also shows how many visit you receive. The data can be a bit screwy so it's best to check it on a monthly basis instead of daily and weekly.
Webmaster tool also organizes all the websites you have online, if like me you have over 50 domains it's easy to lose track especially if you're too focused on just a handful, so when I look at the back office of webmaster it shows all my domains in a list and I can easily access the sites information.
